The Schlei fjord

Our last day off in Schleswig and we're taking a little tour out to where we would have come if the ferry was running.

The ferry at Missunde has become a famous local disaster. A lot of money was didn't spent on a ferry that can't sail. We cycled down to see ii, and the weird thing is, cars still seem to be able to drive onto it in the hope that it will go, only to have to drive back off later when they realise it isn't going to.

There are signs up the road saying that the ferry isn't in service, but it's easy to miss them.

Anyway, after that we headed to the local beach and waited for thy sun to come out before having a quick dip.
