Hotel Academy in Flensburg

A pleasant surprise on the journey was the hotel in Flensburg. On trips like this, where you want to bedrooms, it can be a bit hit and miss finding somewhere suitable. And we all know how "turbo-tourism" is disrupting the housing and rental markets in many cities.

But sometimes you get lucky. The hotel here is part of a private sport academy but also with the local handball club. The rooms can be rented when they're not in use, and the profits go towards the youth section of the club.

If you're ever in Flensburg, we can highly recommend it. It's about 500m from the old town and in a quiet neighbourhood.
