As much china as in China!

After Claudia went home we decided to visit the castle here. It has been beautifully restored and gives you an idea of the opulence of the nobility in the 17th and 18th century.

And Eutin's surprising role in the history of some of Europe's royal families - most notably Catherine the Great of Russia. Surprising because Eutin is no port and is not any river.

But we've also found the perfect home away from home for my mum, who is a real porcelain junky! A room with wall to wall Delft tiles!

And…

The dining room. I reckon my mum could happily spend all day in here admiring the china.

The eagle-eyed will have spotted that it is, of course, KPM. Well, at least I was able to recognise it! 🙈
