A break in the clouds

Yesterday the weather was perfect and we enjoyed late afternoon on the balcony of the flat looking across the river and the raised bridge.

A week ago we were able to sit out the rain but today it was clear we'd have to face it. The forecast is rain for most of the day, but we could see the cloud breaking up in the distance as we left Kappeln.

We've had one short shower since but I think we might be lucky for the rest of the trip.

Now for lunch at a bakery in Langballig.
